Senior Construction Estimator

Minimum education is a BA or BS, and 5 years’ experience in construction management, supervision, or construction estimating. Proficient with Excel, Word, and CAD

Tasks: Read plans, estimate construction costs, create and monitor historical costs tracking system, keep costs journal, follow up with building permits, estimate material from plans, bid out to subcontractors including RFI responses, review and respond to contracts and leases.

Acoustical Ceiling Installer

Minimum education HS diploma or GED. Minimum 3 years in construction-related field and minimum 2 years installing T-bar and other types of suspended ceilings. You must be able to install both from laser-lever and eye. You must know all related codes; anchoring systems, compression pole locations, fire, etc. Some knowledge of light gauge framing and drywall installation would be a plus.

Wood Carver

This work is intermittent. You must have at least 3 years’ experience specifically in wood carving. Other construction trade experience is a plus. Your will have to show examples of your work, demonstrate your techniques on practical tests, and take a basic written exam. Also required is a field review or two previous projects where the work can be verified, by the owner or builder, as being a fair example of your work
